Tap That Moto!

Caught my attention, don't know about you. :D
(From Jesse McCartney's music video)
Nice concept for a phone. I think a few people would get it. I might O_o.
Apparently, according to cnet.co.uk , the Android software isn't perfectly proportioned to its size. That's a shame. But a nice looking phone still.
-Touch screen
-Interchangeable covers

Multitoe floor - Cool

"The key factor of the shown design is that it is based on frustrated total internal reflection sensing. FTIR allows it to identify and track users based on their sole patterns. The floor recognizes foot postures, distinguishes users who interact from people walking by, and enables high-precision interaction. In addition, the floor can approximate users' head positions based on the pressure profile in the soles and it extracts enough details from soles to allow users to play first person shooters by balancing their feet."

This would be very useful for disabled(no arms) people. #justsaying

Kikin- Enhanced search experience

Live twitter streaming
You can watch Youtube straight from your search
Bing + kikin

So Kikin is a very cool add-on for Firefox and Internet Explorer users. It makes browsing a lot more fun and quicker. Personally, I hate the boring old browsing experience but Kikin brings the light I need *heavenly Voices* . Using Kikin with 'Bing', is as perfect as Lady-Gaga and Beyonce :D. I will do a review on 'Bing' soon. Its getting really impressive. Anyway, the pictures above should be able to say a few things.
Try Kikin .

Just saw this post and I liked it.....You should read it and check out how geeky you are ;D

How addicted are you? Take this simple test to find out.
Answer each of the 50 questions below and give yourself one point per question you answer "yes" to. At the end, score yourself. Be honest, this is just for your own benefit... until you report your shocking score in comments, that is.
1. Do you eat most of your meals while at the computer or in front of the television?
2. Do you sometimes bring your laptop when you sit on the toilet?
3. Do you check your feeds more than 1x per hour?
4. Do you make a nervous habit out of refreshing your inbox over and over, just in case someone emailed you in the last 45 seconds?
5. Can you not remember the last time you didn't check online reviews before eating at a new restaurant?
6. Do you freak out if you're in a car and there's no GPS?
7. Does the verb "tweet" come up regularly in your real-life conversations?
8. Have you ever changed vacation plans based on wi-fi availability?
9. Are there more than two portable electronic devices within reach right now?
10. If your house were on fire, would you run in to rescue your laptop?

The New Apple Ipad..finally, the wait is over

Pictures

The highly anticipated Ipad is finally out. Steve Job doing his thing with his presentation. Well to me, it's basically a big Iphone/ipod-touch. Very thin, very stylish, very sexy-as usual and probably want-able. Here are some functionalities I was able to find out:

BumpTop Mac/PC

So I recently downloaded this application on my PC and its *thinking*........... okay. I just think it's a gimmick because it doesn't really make life any easier; it just makes it cooler. After the first few minutes of using it, I thought I would have to delete it immediately but I'm starting to enjoy it in a way. Anyway, enough about me.
BumbTop is an application that turns your regular old boring desktop into a 3d desktop-like thingy. You can organise your files and folders into piles, pin stuff on the wall, 'bump' stuff into each other and watch them get bumped. I like putting photos on the wall. It makes me feel as if I've got my own room on my own desktop-haha. I personally don't see the grand idea behind this but I guess its okay, as I'v said.

Picasa

I'm sure must of you know it and have it, but I just had to put this up. This is one of my favourite applications. It's easy to use, the interface is very user friendly and it has a GBN rating of 5 starts :D It is also a Google product.
You can do basic photo-shopping tasks on it, you can organise your photos, create videos, collages and all the other good stuff. Everybody should have Picasa on there PCs.

Nairobi's blackout solution-The Juakali lamp

Beautiful..If you ask me. When I saw this on the net, I was instantly blown away. I wish I had one of those. hehe.
"It is made from a used can, some wires to make the connection And the battery compartment is ingeniously crafted
from a circle cut from a retired flip flop."
It is mostly sold for ksh 350 ($3.00) I think, in Kenya.

Air Umbrela

I just love innovation. It gives me the goosebumps. This interesting gadget, produces an air-curtain above the user which is formed by sucking in air from the bottom of the rod and then pushing it out at the top. The length of the rod can be adjusted as well as the size of the air-curtain. The developers of this product, claim that it would be eco-friendly i.e there will be no need for a plastic bag. I don't think so. I'm sure you would need a reasonable amount of energy to power it before it can suck in any air . Anyway, that's just my point of view. But I think it's an awesome design.

Flock -The social Browser

After Google Chrome, this is my favourite browser. It is powered by the popular Mozilla Firefox so I guess that's a plus. It integrates twitter, facebook, flickr, digg, youtube and the likes of them. If you are a social networking freak, like most of us, you should give Flock a try.

Backbreaker

Iphone and Ipod touch owners, you have to get this app. Backbreaker is an awesome football game where you control one player and try to run, dodge and jump your way through to the end of the pitch. Its basically awesome

You can get a 'lite' version for free or the full version which costs only £0.59.
